Turkey is a revered totem of self-sacrifice and nurturance, a bird sent by the Creator to feed the people during a time of famine. People around Turtle Island celebrate the harvest and special times of the year with feasts reminding us to give thanks for Turkey and all the provisions we have been given for our journeys.
Because Turkey doesn’t fly very often, she is a creature of the Red Quadrant on the Medicine Wheel – called the Earth Eagle as well – who reminds us to stay grounded, and to be prepared – especially during the most difficult times.
In an excellent article about Turkey Medicine, Bernadette King writes, “In Native American lore, Turkey helped create the world, showing humans how to raise corn and fight off evil spirits. But Native American Turkey hero legend goes much further.
Once upon a time Turkeys could talk just like humans. When a great flood threatened to destroy the earth came, all the four legged and two legged peoples ran to the highest ground. Each tried to carry something the world would need when the flood subsided. Turkey helped everyone get on their way to safety and was the very last creature to flee. Nobody saw that Turkey also stashed hundreds of vegetable and flower seeds and pods within its feathers – wisely knowing all vegetation would need to be replanted so the world could eat. But carrying so many seeds had weighed Turkey down and it couldn’t run fast. The waters caught up to it and Turkey began to drown. Turkey screamed for help. The people who saw Turkey thought it wasn’t carrying anything. They yelled at the bird that it only cared about saving itself and was so selfish it deserved to die. Turkey kept on swimming as hard and fast as it could, craning its neck farther and farther to stay above the water. Finally, exhausted and covered with mud and debris Turkey made it to the top. The people surrounded Turkey still accusing it of only being out for number one instead of pitching in as the rest of them had. With what little energy it still had Turkey stumbled to a standing position and shook its feathers. The vegetable and flower seeds and pods cascaded from under Turkey’s feathers. When the people saw how wrong they had been about Turkey, the heroic bird had almost died trying to save the world’s food supply they begged for forgiveness. When Turkey tried to answer a strange sound came from its throat. That’s when everyone noticed how long Turkey’s neck had become. Turkey had to stretch its neck so far to keep from drowning it ripped its vocal cords. That’s why Turkeys today have such long, skinny necks and speak by gobbling.
Because of these stories (and others) as well as thousands of years of humans using Turkeys for food, clothing (feathers), and making tools (bones) Turkey’s symbolism and meaning ties in heavily with that of the Earth Mother. Nourishing our mind, body, and spirit Turkey symbolizes harvest and abundance. And, so, Turkey represents Autumn/Fall, the season of the Fire Element!”
It’s interesting to me that in this story, that Turkey, the Ground Eagle sent by creator to provide food for the people was more focused on gathering and preserving seeds than for her own safety. In the Cherokee Clan System, Bird Clan people are the messengers from the Great Spirit as well as the keepers and growers of plants.
This week, Turkey seems to be interested in showing us lessons about staying grounded through the storm, about putting ourselves first before spewing all our energy out into the world.
By taking care of ourselves, staying organized and focused on our daily and long-term intentions, we will have much more to give our community when it’s time.
And we are most definitely walking through a difficult time right now. Even as we see millions of people continuing to wake up to the frauds and bioterror being thrown at humanity, we’re also still seeing terrible chaos and violence as the dark ones continue to fight for control of our planet and the people here.
The battle for humanity’s narrative – our very connection to our Creator – rages on around planet Earth. In countries around the globe, we see terrible floods, earthquakes, military conflict, increasing tyranny by government puppets of the cabal, and families still divided over the issues related to their bio-terror attacks.
Added to all of this pressure, the truth about Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and their controllers in the Communist Democrat Party is starting to come out. More and more people are realizing that the 2020 election was indeed stolen from the People of America who voted for our true president: Donald J. Trump.
The elite cabal who has been controlling us for thousands of years, along with their puppets in the medicide and pharma industries, their government puppets, their ground troop terrorists, ANTIFA and members of our own intelligence agencies are increasingly cornered. As cornered demons do – they’re lashing out and expending every last bit of ammo they have.
The tide has turned and for the first time in the five + long years most of us have been fighting this info war, White Hats are finally on the offense.
But still – as I look around, I see three general groups of people:
- Anons who have been doing their research and understand it takes a long time to dismantle a death cult that has been operating on Earth for thousands of years,
- “Patriots” who are following Anons but haven’t done their research and so do nothing but bleat and whine because “nothing is happening,”
- And Sleepers who are still aligned with the globalist narrative, believing they are sick when they’re not, believing they’re “free” when they are enslaved, believing they’re “good” while worshipping all that is dark and evil.
Thanksgiving in the Storm
So, how do you feel gratitude and create community in the middle of such a gigantic pile of chaos? Particularly if you’re in an area surrounded by sleepers with few people willing to do the hard work and dig deep into the depths of the horror show we’ve all been living in?
Well, the wise ones tell us to remember the Old Ways – and Turkey is indeed wise, for as a totem of the Red Quadrant where Crow and Coyote also live, she is a messenger of our Ancestors.
Turkey reminds us to remember our Elders and protect them as they are our greatest treasures. Those who are harming our Elders are also working to make our youth sterile and teach our children that they can choose their own gender. These are not teachings that align with our Elders, the Ancestors or the Creator who has warned us about this time.
I start my days connecting with the Creator and reading and learning Sacred Teachings.
This morning, (because to be honest, I haven’t been feeling very grateful about my life lately), I played the random “open the page and hear from God” game that I have played for many years, and here is what I was given:
Restoration of Israel
30 This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: 2 “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Write in a book all the words I have spoken to you. 3 The days are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘when I will bring my people Israel and Judah back from captivity[a] and restore them to the land I gave their ancestors to possess,’ says the Lord.”
4 These are the words the Lord spoke concerning Israel and Judah: 5 “This is what the Lord says:
“‘Cries of fear are heard—
terror, not peace.
6 Ask and see:
Can a man bear children?
Then why do I see every strong man
with his hands on his stomach like a woman in labor,
every face turned deathly pale?
7 How awful that day will be!
No other will be like it.
It will be a time of trouble for Jacob,
but he will be saved out of it.
8 “‘In that day,’ declares the Lord Almighty,
‘I will break the yoke off their necks
and will tear off their bonds;
no longer will foreigners enslave them.
9 Instead, they will serve the Lord their God
and David their king,
whom I will raise up for them.
10 “‘So do not be afraid, Jacob my servant;
do not be dismayed, Israel,’
declares the Lord.
‘I will surely save you out of a distant place,
your descendants from the land of their exile.
Jacob will again have peace and security,
and no one will make him afraid.
11 I am with you and will save you,’
declares the Lord.
‘Though I completely destroy all the nations
among which I scatter you,
I will not completely destroy you.
I will discipline you but only in due measure;
I will not let you go entirely unpunished.’
This passage is such a powerful teaching, and is something that many leaders – even those who claim to be Religious leaders – refuse to address, for it deals with the most innate aspects of the human identity: our biology. And it shows that the people who have been given responsibility for protecting and guiding the people have failed in their jobs, but the Creator is faithful and waiting for those who will awaken, become aware of all the ways we’ve been participating in this society of darkness, and start working to change our ways.
After a period of suffering, there is always healing and restoration. And this is what all the teachings about Turkey show us.
To me, as a symbol of sacrifice, nurturance, feasting and community, Turkey represents the feminine in our society. Not to take away from you guys, but we need your warrior spirit to protect us while we make the feasts and grow your food :).
Over the last several generations, we have watched the destruction of the family as the primary social unit in society – to be replaced by a Marxist, dystopian nightmare in which men are feminized and women are completely erased from the picture.
When you understand that the ones who are attacking conservatives, the family, and our children worship a Transgender Idol, it becomes easy to see the reason for their agenda.
By eliminating women (that afterthought in their mind), by replacing biological women with beta males dressed in drag and mad science incubators, they intend to replace the entire human race.
Lab rats are easily controlled.
Those born of a woman? Not so much.
But where are the “feminists?” The ones demanding an “end to patriarchy” and calling for a “matriarchy” to replace it?
Well, most of them are wearing masks, lining up for jabs, and reading Cosmo (a CIA propaganda publication).
Slowly, over time, these dark ones infiltrate our societies through the media, and infest peoples’ minds until they don’t even realize what is happening to them. A couple of weeks ago, I wrote on Facebook
Women….
You don’t have your own sports.
You don’t have your own spas.
You don’t have your own toilet facilities.
You don’t have your own beauty pageants.
You don’t have your own ‘safe spaces’ anymore.
You don’t even have your own prisons.
So yes, great question….
Where are the feminists?
Oh yes that’s right, too busy defending BIOLOGICAL MEN.
Today, I would add: “and castrating your own sons.” The abuse that “feminist” women and their beta male “partners” are inflicting on a generation of children is breathtaking and it really must be stopped.
We know the sins of the parents are often spread down through the generations, and that is why the movement toward erasing or mutilating our biological identity must be stopped.
We know beyond a doubt that this “transgender” movement is being orchestrated by Communists to destroy the west as they have repeatedly done for more than 100 years.
And Turkey reminds us that is why it is so important for us to remember to give thanks for our very lives – every day. These are the bodies we chose for ourselves while we were in the Spirit world – our very own “avatar” for our journey on planet Earth.
Why would we listen to mentally ill people or those who are paid to push mental illness into our society – and believe we actually have more power than the Creator of the universe, than our own highest Spiritual essence – to mutilate and destroy such a sacred creation as our own being or that of our children?
Turkey reminds us of the power of humility – which is the basis for gratitude. When we are humble and grateful for all we have been given, it’s less likely that we will fall for schemes to destroy our bodies, souls, and future generations that also empty our pocketbooks.
And, during times of war and chaos such as this, Turkey reminds us that community doesn’t always come from the place we are at the moment. Sometimes, we’re just camping out until it’s time to move forward again. And, during those times, community comes from unexpected places – like through our online communities.
And for that blessing – for this beautiful Bird Clan of truth-seekers, teachers, star seeds, lightworkers, patriots, parents, healers, artists . . . I am so deeply grateful for all of you.
And if you were here, I’d make you a feast.
It is my honour to be your messenger.
Reblogged this on Bird Clan Messenger and commented:
Hi everyone,
Hope you’re all well. My tech crisis seems to be ending as (after buying and returning three malfunctioning ones), I finally have a working computer. I am very grateful and that’s perfect timing because Turkey is this week’s totem. We have a lot to be grateful about in the US these days, in spite of the fact it looks like chaos is raging out of control. The Red Wave has officially begun, as Arizona Patriots brought the receipts for MAGA Patriots. This is just the beginning, so make sure you’re all stocked up and ready to celebrate. I’m re-blogging last year’s Turkey Medicine Article as it seems that much of what I wrote then is beginning to show up in the collective. Great refresher or a little red pill to share with newly awakened ones in your world. As always, thank you so much for being here. It is my honour to be your messenger.
